DSE 2016 to Present 'Lessons Learned: A Rebel’s Guide to Digital Signage'

Dec. 1, 2015

Digital Signage Expo (DSE) announced Dec. 1, that its 24-part Digital Signage Seminar Program at DSE 2016 designed specifically for End Users will include an hour-long session titled, “Lessons Learned: A Rebel’s Guide to Digital Signage.”

Brad Parler, digital communications specialist at Blinds.com, will present a case study overview of the development of the digital signage project at Blinds.com, which began with six netbooks and PowerPoint and has evolved to a network of more than 70 screens and two video walls. Brad will also share the lessons he learned, some of which were totally unexpected, and why he approaches digital signage differently.

DSE Advisory Board members recently had the opportunity to comment on this timely topic and offered a variety of interesting insights, including the following sampling of responses:

“The most unexpected thing we learned following the installation of our On-The-Go Travel Station Network was how quickly our customers took to the machines, and how they have become part of the daily commute routine for some,” said Paul Fleurenges, vice president, corporate communications, New York City Transit Authority

Registration for “Lessons Learned: A Rebel’s Guide to Digital Signage” or any of the DSE 2016 educational conference seminars, which are sponsored by Broadsign International and are eligible for Digital Signage Expert Group (DSEG) certification renewal credits, is available online.
