With more than 25 years of information technology (IT) experience, and eight of those years in the transit industry, William Tsuei joins Valley Metro as their chief technology officer. Prior to arriving in Phoenix, Tsuei served as IT senior manager for ACCESS Services in Los Angeles and as IT director for Omnitrans in San Bernardino, California.
His career has spanned the globe working as an IT professional for Ciber Inc. in Denver and Eastern Home Shopping Network in Taipei, Taiwan and Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Tamkang University in Taiwan and master’s degree from Cleveland State University in Cleveland Ohio. He is a graduate of the Leadership APTA Class of 2012 and currently serves as chair of the APTA IT Committee.
