Sioux City residents and visitors can now receive personalized directions on how to plan a trip to their destination of choice using the city's transit system.
The Sioux City Transit System last week launched a system-wide virtual trip planner that allows users to enter their starting and ending destinations and a desired departure or arrival time, then receive detailed directions including the nearest bus stop location, route transfer information and total estimated travel time.
Users can access the trip planner on the city's website at sioux-city.org/trip-planner. The planner also works on mobile devices.
