Urban Solar has announced its new membership with the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association (PPTA).
The PPTA is a professional trade organization that advocates and strengthens the role of public transportation for all of Pennsylvania.
With this membership, Urban Solar joins industry professionals representing urban systems, industry suppliers, consultants and government agencies interested in progressive public transportation policies. This exciting new opportunity allows Urban Solar to participate in the process and development of public policy, and engage in a forum to promote public transportation’s commitment to service.
“We are honored to be associated with the PPTA,” said Urban Solar Senior Business Development Manager John Joynt, who has volunteered to sit on one of the PPTA’s committees as an advisor. “Our 75 years of solar design experience can be used to efficiently improve amenities at stops and shelters, and we look forward to assisting the association in any way we can.”
