On Saturday, September 10, Valley Metro, Phoenix and Mesa, were honored at the Arizona Forward Environmental Excellence Awards ceremony receiving the Art in Public Places Award for the Valley Metro Public Art Program for Northwest and Central Mesa Extensions. The award recognizes works of art that are visually accessible to the public.
