Schreder Lighting US Unveils Custom Lighting Program for Municipalities and Lighting Designers
Schréder Lighting US General Manager John Camp has announced a new custom lighting program with the capability to turn unique lighting design vision into reality. Possibilities range from simple adaptations of existing products, to new individual lighting fixtures, through to complete systems for indoor and outdoor applications.
"We offer an extremely high degree of flexibility and scalability in both product design and logistics," explains Camp. "Our technical team is highly skilled and experienced in liaising with clients to produce working drawings on the basis of concepts provided.
"Working samples are created and extensively tested within the facility before production," continued Camp. "Having operated in the outdoor lighting market for many years, we have a strong understanding of the stresses that are brought to bear on products designed for outdoor use. All of our luminaires are designed to remain reliable, stable and beautiful throughout their life and constructed from the best possible materials and components."
Schréder also offers an unparalleled pedigree in managing technologies and optical systems required to create the right light technical performance, whether within a refined architectural setting or in the harshest tunnel, DOT and transit environments.
Recent custom projects include: laser-cut, dual-purpose light columns and signature poles to create a sense of local identity for a city; uplights for a 200-foot long and 100-foot tall sculpture featuring a fanned-out wave effect created by a series of 12 giant aluminum fins set at different angles; and a unique street lantern and column system featuring curvaceous plant-like design and technical performance for a city that wanted a distinctive and elegant look.
