The National Transit Institute has announced the 4th Transit Maintenance Leadership Workshop, which will be held December 4-8, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Targeting senior-level transit maintenance professionals, the workshop curriculum will support the development of leadership skills, explore strategic maintenance planning, facilitate the sharing of best practices, and build a network of transit maintenance professionals.
The tuition for the four and ½ day workshop will be $2,095 per participant. You must apply and be accepted to attend this fee-based workshop.
Applications are being accepted until 12 noon EST on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Three previous workshops were held in Long Beach, California; Dallas, Texas ; and Louisville, Kentucky. They were attended by maintenance leaders representing transit agencies across the country. Those who attended the workshop found it to be a unique learning experience that allowed them the opportunity to connect with other maintenance professionals.
The Transit Maintenance Leadership workshop was developed by NTI in partnership with GannonConsult, and supported by the Federal Transit Administration. The workshop is directed by GannonConsult's Dr. Barbara Gannon, with instructional support from Raymond Melleady (USSC Group), Rolando Cruz (Santa Monica Big Blue Bus), Paul Larrousse (NTI), Lindsey Robertson (APTA), and other industry leaders.
