    Authorities say a passenger steered a Utah public transit bus to safety after the driver had a medical emergency and passed out behind the wheel.

    Kenneth Manola says he knew something was wrong when the Cache Valley Transit District bus from Logan to Richmond began swerving Tuesday afternoon with about a half dozen people on board.

    Manola took control of the steering wheel and told other passengers to call 911.
