MI: MAX Transit Leader on Leave During Embezzlement Probe

As the investigation continues into an alleged case of embezzlement involving the Macatawa Area Express, the operational leader of the mass transit agency has been placed on administrative leave.

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) - As the investigation continues into an alleged case of embezzlement involving the Macatawa Area Express, the operational leader of the mass transit agency has been placed on administrative leave.

MAX Authority board chairman Russ TeSlaa told the "Holland Sentinel" on Monday that Executive Director Linda LeFebre will continue to be paid "pending the outcome of an internal investigation" conducted by the board following notification from Holland Public Safety detectives last week that they are examining the MAX books over the last five years.
