About 100 New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) employees will receive an award honoring them for their service in aiding in the recovery following the attacks of 9/11.
The medal was designed by a Transport Workers Union (TWU) official and the awards will be presented at a ceremony at the TWU's Brooklyn union hall.
