Monday morning, as thousands of you head back to work or school after the holidays, you can bet there will be crowds gathering at the RTS Transit Center in downtown Rochester. When riders get there, they will see new levels of security to keep them safe.

RTS officials tell us their security will be increased today. We're told Rochester Police will also be doing frequent checks and there will be added security from the Rochester City School District as well.

Some bus riders are still on edge after a stabbing on December 15 at the new transit center. Police say 16-year-old Shakil Bice stabbed another 16-year-old boy during a fight. Bice is charged with assault. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to be okay.
