Siemens recently completed the first Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Charger. The new clean diesel-electric locomotives for WSDOT will power the Amtrak Cascades service that runs from Eugene, Oregon, to Vancouver, British Columbia, jointly run by WSDOT and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
