ERICO (now a Pentair company) Track Cable Protectors protect track cables against tamping, ballast regulation, brooming, track machines and dragging equipment. The Track Cable Protector was originally developed to minimize the risk of damage to track connection cables. Track Cable Protector are designed to mount on ties. When installed they ensure that the track cables are positioned along the edge of the tie. Track Cable Protectors enables tamping of all ties and enables essential track operations to improve stability and reliability of tracks. It furthermore prevents the condition of empty cribs due to not being able to regulate the track in these areas.
