The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has invited residents, business owners, stakeholders and the general public to two meetings on March 23 in Huntington Park to discuss segment B of the Rail-to-Rail/River project.
The project will build a walking and bike path in two segments between the future Crenshaw/LAX Line and the Los Angeles River. Segment B is the portion of the route between the Blue Line’s Slauson Station and the river.
The meetings will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.at the Oldtimers Housing Development Corp., Ballroom IV, 3355 E. Gage Avenue, Huntington Park, California 90255. The information provided at both meetings will be the same.
The public will have the chance to learn about the preferred route for Segment B and the next steps for the project. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and to meet members of the project team.
All Metro meetings are held in facilities that comply with the American with Disability Act (ADA). Other ADA accommodations are available by calling (323) 486-3876 or the California Relay Service at 711 at least 72 hours in advance of the meetings.
