At this upcoming InnoTrans students, trainees and job starters will be able to get information about future careers in the global transport industry. From September 20 to 23 numerous exhibitors, including international global players and small and medium-sized enterprises, will be aiming to attract them with a wide range of jobs and career opportunities. As the world's leading trade fair for transport technology InnoTrans offers the best insights into the innovative capabilities of this industry. At the same time it provides students with plenty of services before and during the trade fair to help them find the job of their dreams inside the 41 display halls.
Career & Education Hall (7.1c) and Career Pavilion
For young professionals the Career & Education Hall (7.1c) and Career Pavilion will be the place to head, where national and international global players, small and medium-sized enterprises, transport companies, universities and industry associations will be concentrated under one roof. This is where they can get detailed advice from human resource experts and exhibitors’ lectures on careers and opportunities, discuss individual issues and hold job interviews. Inside the Career & Education Hall (7.1c) a special ’Photo Box’ will provide entertainment for students. This is where they can capture their moments at InnoTrans and immediately post or email them. Various InnoTrans themes can be chosen as a background motif.
Guided Career Tours several times a day
On each of the four days of InnoTrans several Career Tours will be taking job seekers on direct visits to exhibitors who are actively targeting young professionals. These companies are recognizable by the Career Point logo.
Services: job market, Facebook and reduced-rate tickets
Even before the official start of the trade fair the online job market of the Virtual Market Place is posting vacancies for account managers, geomaticians, electricians, engineers, web managers and other jobs as well.
A list of hostels is also available from the InnoTrans website. Trainees, pupils and students can get reduced-rate day tickets to InnoTrans 2016 which cost 12 euros from www.innotrans.com/career. Ticket holders may use public transport in the greater Berlin area free of charge.
Students from Germany and abroad at InnoTrans
For German and foreign students alike InnoTrans offers a major opportunity to launch their career. Numerous international groups of students have already registered for the event in September, including a group from Korea. For the first time InnoTrans has sponsored two awards in the USA and China in order to give students with a keen interest in and knowledge of this sector an opportunity to explore their career chances at the world’s leading trade fair. The four winners have each been awarded a free trip to InnoTrans 2016.
