The Latest Information from ACE on the ACE 10 Derailment

On March 7th 2016 ACE train 10 struck a tree on the train tracks at mile post 34 between Fremont, California and Pleasanton, California. Of the 214 passengers onboard 9 were injured and 4 of the 9 were transported to local hospitals.

Of the 214 passengers onboard 9 were injured and 4 of the 9 were transported to local hospitals. As of 10 P.M the train wa empty, buses were in route for the remaining passengers to take them to their final destinations.

Service was cancelled on Tuesday March 8th. ACE is working with its partners to restore service as soon as possible pending a complete investigation and assurance that the tracks are safe.
