Prior to joining HDR, Kennah was the alternative delivery capture manager with Aecom, where his responsibilities included business development for its transit practice in North America, strategic market planning, and project management for transit design.

Kennah has 20 years of experience in engineering and project management, including full range of conventional and advanced transportation technology projects.  His accomplishments include advancing the Tide LRT program management for Hampton Roads Transit in Norfolk, Virginia and leading design delivery for the Denton County Transportation Authority A-Train in Denton, Texas, Central Arkansas Transit Authority’s River Rail Street Car in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Regional Transportation District’s I-225 Light Rail in Denver, Colorado.

“Major transit projects in North America require experienced and savvy project managers to lead project development and delivery,” said Tom Waldron, HDR’s transit director. “Robert has that experience, and having him on our team brings additional bench strength to successfully deliver these important projects to our clients. We’re very glad he’s joined HDR.”
