Christopher Papazoglou has been named a senior supervising engineer in the New York City office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Papazoglou will have technical and managerial responsibilities on rail design projects in the New York region. He is currently working in support of the East Side Access project.
Papazoglou has extensive railroad engineering experience. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a senior railroad engineer with a New York engineering firm, responsible for projects involving new track alignment, structural design, traction power, and civil/drainage engineering.
Papazoglou received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
