Brian W. King, PE, was named a vice president with Gannett Fleming. Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Penn., King serves as a manager of maintenance facilities in the transit and rail section.
With more than 25 years of experience, he oversees the planning, design, and construction-phase services of bus and rail maintenance facility projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. The firm’s award-winning Transit and Rail Section has designed more than 80 rail shops and 150 bus maintenance facilities with construction values ranging from $10 million to more than $200 million.

King holds a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a master of science in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Active in professional associations, he is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Air Force Association. He is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, New York, and Ontario, Canada. King resides in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.
