Bombardier Transportation will present its most advanced mainline and mass transit rail control solutions and experience in delivering in the Asia region at the Signalling and Telecommunications Asia conference in Bangkok.
Workshops and a technical visit to the Bangkok SkyTrain (BTS) mass transit system will provide an opportunity for participants to see Bombardier’s communications-based train control (CBTC) technology in operation. The Bombardier CITYFLO 450 solution was delivered in close cooperation with BTS to ensure a smooth transition when integrating new technologies to existing legacy systems and is now improving the city’s transportation options. During technical sessions, Bombardier will present insights into the delivery of high speed signalling solutions and how European rail traffic management system (ERTMS) technology can enhance cross-border interoperability and high speed operations in Asia.
Gregory Enjalbert, head of Asia, Australasia and Middle East, rail control solutions for Bombardier Transportation, said “This is an exciting era for the rail industry and Bombardier will continue to deliver innovative solutions and groundbreaking technology for the development of the region’s transport networks. Our CBTC technology is globally proven and we have a high level of operational experience in delivering the latest in mainline and high speed technology. We look forward to continuing to work closely with our customers across Asia to provide improved efficiency and services.”
