CHK America has begun the next stage of the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) customer information project, which involves the design, fabrication and installation of over 2,300 wayfinding panels located at CHK designed bus stops from Chesapeake, Hampton, and Newport News to Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.

Before entering this phase of the project, CHK America designed and fabricated customer information panels and purpose-built hardware for "The Tide," HRT's new rail line. Additionally, CHK America has developed the design and overall brand for the bus stop blades and flags as well as information panels for the Virginia Beach "Wave," an oceanfront hybrid-electric shuttle system.

"We are pleased to be a part of HRTs effort to install best practice customer information panels throughout their system," said Rick Wood, President of CHK America. "This continues to be an exciting and multi-faceted project."
