And help is also coming for bus riders, he added.

The number of trains without enough cars has gone down from 46 to six, said Kevin Corbett, NJ Transit executive director. A short-term strategy was announced on Feb. 15 by Murphy, Corbett and Acting Transportation Commissioner Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti.
