In what's turned into a week-long issue, New Jersey Transit trains and buses have again been canceled on Thursday due to what the agency described as operational issues.

In what's turned into a week-long issue, New Jersey Transit trains and buses have again been canceled on Thursday due to what the agency described as operational issues.

The problem Thursday is at a North Jersey garage where NJ Transit scrapped three scheduled departures on the No. 712 bus line. The 5:52 a.m., 7:01 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. runs from Hackensack to the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne will not operate, the agency said via Twitter.

In addition, a 4:51 a.m. train from New York Penn Station on the Northeast Corridor line to Trenton was canceled due to an engineer shortage. Forty-one other trains have been canceled since Sunday as engineers exercised their contractual right not to show up for work.
