The City Council unanimously agreed to support Sound Transit 3, the $54 billion regional transit project that would bring a light-rail connection to Issaquah in 2041.
If the measure on the November ballot passes, Issaquah would get a Link light-rail station in the central part of the city, parking for 500 cars and a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 90.
The entire ST3 project would add 62 miles of light rail to the existing system.
