Ramsey County Commissioner Janice Rettman was elected chair of the Minnesota High-Speed Rail Commission, a group of public officials that advocates for a high-speed rail line between the Twin Cities, Milwaukee and Chicago.
Rettman replaces St. Charles Mayor William J. Spitzer, who did not seek re-election this year as mayor and resigned from the commission.
