The annual No Pants Ride took place in Portland and dozens of other cities around the world.
The No Pants Subway Ride began in 2002 in New York as a stunt and has taken place around the world since then. Organizers call it “an international celebration of silliness” and organized it in dozens of cities on Sunday.
In Portland, the pants-less riders weren’t just doing it for grins and giggles — though that’s certainly part of it. They were trying to help the homeless.
The goal is to collect hats, scarves gloves and pants for the homeless community...
