The High-Speed Rail Leadership Summit takes place in San Jose, California on September 11-13. This year’s event will highlight the Golden State's mega rail project, with keynote addresses delivered by state officials including Chairman Dan Richard and CEO Brian Kelly of the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Presentations will review the current 120-mile construction segment in the Central Valley, future project development strategy, shared corridor improvements including Caltrain electrification, and rail station development. International representatives will present case studies and best practices from around the world where high-speed rail systems have been operating for decades. Field tours being organized on the 3rd day will visit rail construction sites, corridor upgrades, and the newly-opened Salesforce Transit Center.
