Alex Wu has been appointed to be vice president of digital transformation and chief information officer for Keolis North America.
Wu brings more than three decades of experience in information technology that includes business development, product and service development, engineering and operations management and organizational transformation.
“I’m thrilled to welcome someone with Alex’s breadth of experience in both information technology and organizational transformation,” said David Scorey, president and CEO, Keolis North America. “We created this executive-level role given the importance of digitalization in the transit industry and to better meet the needs of our passengers. Alex will help us to both apply innovative strategies to our technology stack and deliver strategic insight to be an even better partner with public transit agencies.”
In his new position, Wu will be accountable for further digitizing business processes, developing new tools, implementing innovative technologies and creating even greater value for clients. He will also play a key role in driving operational efficiencies through digital innovations and accelerating the ongoing clean-energy transition in public transportation.
Most recently, Alex spent two decades working with the United States federal government serving as the deputy chief information officer with the National Gallery of Art. Prior to supporting the U.S. government, Alex worked in the medical, semi-conductor, computer manufacturing, telecom and construction material industries. His responsibilities included supporting commercial and government entities both domestically and internationally.

Wu earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in Information Systems from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
