VIA Metropolitan Transit (VIA) has taken steps to maintain essential service levels while adjusting to meet the current demand with the labor and resources available now.

On Oct. 25, VIA proposed to introduce service changes designed to maintain service quality while adjusting to available staff levels. These changes are meant to be temporary and will primarily impact route frequency. Other service changes are planned due to construction and other external factors in the area.

VIA notes the agency is doing its best to minimize any negative impact to customers and appreciate their patience as it works through these issues and to address COVI-19D and workforce conditions, including actively recruiting and training operators and mechanics.

See the complete list of frequency changes on the VIA Service Changes Page.
