The Utah Transit Authority recently recognized some of its outstanding corporate partners. These businesses and organizations are just a few of the many that encourage their employees to take public transportation by participating in UTA's Eco Pass program. An Eco Pass is a company-sponsored annual transit pass employees can use to ride the train or the bus. This pass program reduces the need for employee parking, allows employees to avoid rush hour traffic and helps improve air quality by taking cars off the road.
UTA was also pleased to recognize some of the long-serving transit coordinators who help facilitate the corporate pass programs at their organizations: Jacki Hatch from Zions Bank, Melanie Hall and Dina Nielsen from Davis Technical College, Dawn Burgess from Utah Valley University and Genie Wagner from IHC.
