Dayton RTA Hires New Maintenance Project Manager

The Greater Dayton RTA has welcomed aboard Maintenance Project Manager Derrick Smith.

The Greater Dayton RTA has welcomed aboard Maintenance Project Manager Derrick Smith. Smith's role is to provide project and day-to-day oversight on the buildings and grounds group as well as the trolley power infrastructure. 

Smith worked most recently as the director of operations for the Dayton division of Automation Tooling Systems (ATS). He was also a senior program manager for Assembly & Test Worldwide (ATW), where he managed programs for Ford vehicles. Smith is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute and attended the Sinclair/University of Dayton Engineering parallel program. He will work out of the 705 Longworth RTA location.
