APTA Announces New Executive Committee and New Members of the Board of Directors

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) has announced its newly elected 2016-2017 Executive Committee and Board of Directors at the 2016 APTA Annual Meeting on Sept. 10 in Los Angeles, CA.

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) has announced its newly elected 2016-2017 Executive Committee and Board of Directors at the 2016 APTA Annual Meeting on Sept. 10 in Los Angeles, California.

The new APTA chair is Doran J. Barnes, executive director, Foothill Transit, West Covina, California. Barnes, who is the Executive Director for the system succeeds Valarie J. McCall.

Nathaniel P. Ford, Sr., the chief executive officer of Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Jacksonville, Florida, was elected vice chair, and Kim R. Green, executive director of business development for GENFARE of Elk Grove Village, Illinois will continue serving as elected secretary-treasurer.
