COTA Appoints Vice President of Operations

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announces the appointment of Emille Williams to the position of vice president of operations.

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announces the appointment of Emille Williams to the position of vice president of operations.

Williams comes from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) where he most recently held the position of chief engineering officer in the operations division. In this role, he led engineering and technical activities for their bus fleet. He was responsible for all engineering support activities related to the design, procurement, configuration, controls, inspection, warranty and preventative maintenance for the Authority. Throughout his 20+ year career at SEPTA, Williams advanced through several positions supporting utility fleet operations, bus maintenance and engineering.

Williams has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and an M.B.A. in Finance from La Salle University.
