WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Names New Head of Transportation Operations

    Dana Meier will manage transportation and infrastructure operations in Utah, Idaho and Montana as the new area manager in the Murray, Utah office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

    Some of the firm’s recent projects in the region include Mountain View Corridor, I-15 & Hill Field Road Interchange, and program management for the Utah Transit Authority. 

    Meier has more than 32 years of transportation industry experience. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was program engineer with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams on a variety of transportation projects in Southern Utah. From 1998 to 2011 he was president of DM Associates, a Cedar City, Utah structural/civil engineering firm which he founded. He has also held several senior technical positions at UDOT, including district engineer and maintenance engineer.

    Meier received a B.S.C.E. degree from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
