OATS Transit highlighted transit employees Maggie Meltabarger and Patty Robinson for their 25 years of service with the transit agency.
Meltabarger started with the company on Sept. 30, 1999, and developed her transit career through her dedication to Mid-Missouri operations. She has worked in several communities around the state of Missouri and currently serves as a team leader helping to train fellow drivers.
“Maggie truly embodies OATS Transit’s mission daily,” said OATS Transit Mid-MO Regional Director Gary Anspach. “Her passion and commitment to her riders and fellow drivers is invaluable.
In 2023, Meltabarger was honored by the Missouri Public Transit Association with a Transit Champion Award at its annual conference.
Robinson started with the company on Sept. 24, 1999, and has been a part of the agency's northeast Missouri operations ever since, driving in and around Marion County.
“If 25 years doesn’t prove Patty loves her job, then her unwavering enthusiasm does," said Sheree Webb, OATS Transit northeast Missouri regional director. “Day in and day out, she works hard to see that each of her riders has a safe and enjoyable trip.
