Cincinnati Metro has received a national award in recognition of its innovative digital strategy.
Cincinnati Metro earned the Granicus Digital Strategy Award for its Cincy EZAlerts program, which makes it easier for riders to plan their trip. Cincy EZAlerts, a web-based system, notifies bus riders via text or email when their specific route experiences a service delay or service interruption. Since its launch in mid-2017, more than 28,000 people have subscribed to Cincy EZAlerts.
The Granicus Digital Strategy Award, presented by Granicus, is given to agencies that have implemented digital strategies that have demonstrated effective and innovative ways to streamline processes, transform access to services and improve experiences for citizens.
Cincinnati Metro was one of 14 state, local and federal agencies that received the Granicus Digital Strategy Award.
