    BYD Delivers 4 More Battery-electric Buses to St. Albert Transit

    BYD Canada announced that St. Albert Transit has received their second order of 4 K9 35-foot electric buses.

    BYD Canada announced that St. Albert Transit has received their second order of 4 K9 35-foot electric buses. STAT ordered a total of 7 buses, the first 3 of which were delivered in May of 2017. With the delivery of 4 more buses, 10 percent of STAT’s fleet is fully-electric, making them the largest operator of zero-emission battery-electric buses in Canada.

    The conversion to zero-emissions buses will assist the city of St. Albert in reaching the goals outlined in their Environmental Master Plan.
