The Central Ohio Transit Authority will provide expanded public transportation to Red, White & BOOM! on Tues., July 3 with express service from Park & Rides, local service and extended CBUS service.
Express service to Downtown from select Park & Ride locations will begin at 5 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. Before the fireworks, there will be an improved frequency of service traveling Downtown on most local service until approximately 9 p.m.
After the fireworks, buses will leave Downtown from designated Red, White & BOOM! boarding zones at approximately 10:45 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and midnight. Boarding zones will be posted in downtown High Street bus shelters. Riders can also look for COTA employees wearing white “ZOOM to BOOM” t-shirts.
COTA riders can attend Ballpark BOOM at Huntington Park for free by showing a valid COTA Park & Ride wristband, valid COTA Pass, C-pass credential, BuckID or CCAD ID.
COTA’s customer service call center will offer extended hours on July 3 from 6 a.m.-midnight, to assist customers with their transportation needs.
