Sacramento Regional Transit District, City of Citrus Heights and TransLōc Introduce SmaRT Ride, On-Demand Transit

The Sacramento Regional Transit District will hold a press conference/ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce the debut of SmaRT Ride, a new on-demand transit service in the city of Citrus Heights, on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

SacRT partnered with TransLōc to enhance the existing City Ride, dial-a-ride service, with a more convenient and flexible shuttle service called SmaRT Ride. The innovative program allows customers using a smartphone application to schedule rides on smaller neighborhood-friendly sized buses. Similar to ride-hailing services, a shuttle bus will pick riders up wherever they are and take them where they want to go.
