"The intent behind Kids Ride Free! program is to help kids get where they need to go during the summer. We take kids to summer school, the pool, the mall, the library, work, grandma's and everywhere around town," said Topeka Metro General Manager Susan Duffy. "As our kids learn to navigate Topeka on their own, they are learning a life skill that will benefit them anywhere in the world. Public transit is a safe and reliable transportation choice for all ages."
