Go Team Therapy Dogs Organization Continues Partnership with TransIT

On Saturday, October 22nd, TransIT hosted the onboard bus training for the Go Team, the Therapy/Crisis/Service Dog Training organization for the second year.

On Saturday, October 22nd, TransIT Services of Frederick County (TransIT) hosted the onboard bus training for the Go Team, the Therapy/Crisis/Service Dog Training organization for the second year. TransIT staff assisted the organization to train therapy dogs to assist their owners to board and ride a bus.

Go Team Therapy Dogs is a national nonprofit with a local chapter in Frederick dedicated to training and placing therapy dogs in nursing homes, retirement communities, schools, disaster areas, or anywhere in which a dog can provide affection and comfort to people. The organization has grown to officially be recognized as a therapy dog organization by the AKC (American Kennel Club).
