The Albuquerque Rapid Transit (ART) project team will begin heavy construction on October 17th within the construction corridor on Central Avenue from Coors Boulevard to Louisiana Boulevard with a team of highly qualified local subcontractors in each of the five segments.
The selected project subcontractors include:
For roadwork: Star Paving, TLC Plumbing & Utility and AUI, Inc.; for electrical work: Bixby Electrical and MWI, Inc.; for landscaping: Accent Landscaping and Groundskeeper Landscaping; for road striping: San Bar Construction; for traffic control: Southwest Safety; and for quality control and testing: Western Technologies.
