The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) will facilitate the first Transportation Tuesday, September 27 from 8:00 a.m.- 12 p.m. at Del Mar College Center for Economic Development.
Transportation Tuesday is a quarterly meeting that brings together many of the brightest leaders in the transportation industry along with various state legislative representatives. This meeting will work to address some changes on the horizon for transportation, the increase of drone usage, infrastructure and the growth of the Port Corpus Christi.
Attendees will receive in-depth information on the latest transportation updates, the new US Highway 181 Harbor Bridge Replacement Project and immediate and long term plans for South Texas Highways from transportation representatives like Executive Director of TxDOT, James M. Bass, updates from Chairman of Sunset Commission, Larry Gonzales and many more.
“It is important that Corpus Christi continues to be a leader in innovation, and with the growth of the Port of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend we need to make sure that our transportation will be at the forefront of our conversations. Transportation Tuesday will allow us to begin the conversation that will help better prepare us for what is to come,” said CCRTA Government Affairs Chairwoman Angie Flores-Granado.
