Parson's Wager Selected for Florida Council of 100

Oct. 30, 2015

Parsons announced that Todd Wager, Parsons Group president, has been selected as a resident member of the Florida Council of 100, a private, nonprofit, bipartisan organization that promotes the economic growth of Florida. Composed of Florida business leaders, the council works closely with Florida’s governor, state agencies, legislature, and judicial branch, as well as private organizations, to effect positive change and improve the quality of life for citizens throughout Florida.

Wager joined Parsons in 1996 and has since held a succession of project management, business development, and executive leadership positions throughout the corporation, both in Europe and the United States.  Wager leads the corporation’s transportation business unit, which provides customers worldwide with full-service engineering, management and technical services in the aviation, road, highway, bridge, tunnel and rail transit markets.

“I am honored to serve on the Florida Council of 100,” said Wager. “This voluntary commitment further exemplifies Parsons’ dedication to corporate social responsibility, which includes giving back, not only to the communities we serve as a company, but also to the communities in which we live and work.”

Through reports, position statements, policy letters, issue advocacy, and public relations, the Florida Council of 100 keeps state leaders and policy-makers apprised of key topics relevant to the state, and makes recommendations for enhancing state policies and programs.
