Mountain Metro Seeks Vanpool Applicants

The city’s Mountain Metro Rides group is accepting applications now for its vanpool program. If you live in Colorado Springs and commute to Denver, Pueblo, or other outlying areas, or you live in outlying areas and commute to Colorado Springs, vanpool can be a smart choice. Vanpoolers share the ride and pay a low monthly fare for a minivan that seats six passengers; or a full-size van that seats 10 passengers. The van, insurance, fuel, maintenance and an emergency ride home are all included. Plus, some commuters may be eligible for commuter benefits that further reduce their costs or even allow them to commute for free.
