RTD Plans Outreach Events
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has an array of activities planned to create awareness and support for long-term, sustainable transportation funding as part of Stand Up 4 Transportation (SU4T). RTD is currently in the middle of a 15-stop “signature bus tour” as a lead-up to SU4T Day, set for April 9. Over the next few weeks, a specially branded bus will make stops at locations in RTD director districts that draw a crowd to give people the chance to sign the bus as a visible show of advocacy. All along the bus tour, people will also be able to sign the SU4T online petition.

RTD is also planning a Unity Parade and Rally at Denver Union Station on April 9. RTD and its transportation partners will parade down the 16th Street Mall to Denver Union Station, where a rally will take place.
The rally will feature a series of speakers from a cross-section of the community sharing brief comments about the importance of transportation in their lives.
