Architecture firm di Domenico + Partners announced the addition of Tilman Globig, AIA, LEED AP BD+C as a senior associate.
With over 28 years of experience in the design and production of architectural and planning projects, Globig’s work is grounded in the strong belief that craft plays a key role in the creation of enduring architecture. With extensive expertise in technical and construction issues, Globig has played a vital role in implementing a number of complex projects that have typically required the management of large teams of consultants. He joins the firm from Ricardo Zurita Architecture & Planning, with previous senior design and management roles at Beyhan Karahan & Associates, as well as Mitchell/Giurgola Architects.
Since joining di Domenico + Partners in the summer of 2013, Globig has served as project manager and quality control director for several projects, including the restoration of the 168th and 181st Street subway stations, a new entrance at the 28th Street station at 400 Park Avenue South, and component replacement projects for numerous stations on the New Lots and Jamaica Avenue lines, all for MTA. In addition, Globig will take an active role in business development and mentoring younger staff at the firm.
