TÜV Rheinland has named David Leers Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for North America. In his new role, Leers will offer insights to guide the company’s financial decisions and will work closely with TÜV Rheinland’s executive leadership to develop, monitor and evaluate corporate strategy with emphasis on financial performance.
Leers brings to TÜV Rheinland more than 20 years of experience in financial development and building partnerships between operations and finance. Prior to his current position, Leers served as CFO and controller, North America for SDL Intl. He was responsible for the division’s financial management and played an active role in several acquisitions, leading the due diligence and post- merger integration processes.
Prior to SDL, Leers held a number of management positions at CompuCom Systems Inc. (formerly Getronics USA, Inc.), an international IT services company. Leers began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers International first as aenior associate in Boston, and then as audit manager in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Leers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Vermont in Burlington.
