GRTC ended its daily seasonal express service from downtown Richmond to Kings Dominion on Sept. 2.
The transit system announced that for the first time the 102x Kings Dominion Express service will provide service through October. Starting Sept. 14, GRTC will operate a special weekend service thru Sunday, Oct. 27. This will provide public transit to the Kings Dominion annual Halloween Haunt event.
Passengers will be able to board the 102x Kings Dominion Express at all westbound bus stops on Broad Street between 12th and Belvidere for express service directly to Kings Dominion.
The fare remains the same. For only $5 per trip, visitors will save wear and tear on their cars, avoid the high cost of gas and parking, and let someone else do the driving when they visit the Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion, a great destination for family fun.
