DC: SmarTrip Goes Back to School

Aug. 14, 2013
Metro visits area campuses to promote SmarTrip cards to students.

Metro representatives will visit several local college campuses over the next two weeks to encourage new and returning students to buy one of the essentials of college life in this region: a SmarTrip card.

“Cost savings and convenience are especially important to students, and having a SmarTrip card gives students in our transportation network the benefit of both as they use the Metro system,” said Lynn Bowersox, Metro's assistant general manager for customer service, communications and marketing.
